32 CHASE'S --- WASHINGTON, D.C. WEEK SEPT. 21" HENRY LEE AND HIS PLAYERS VALMORE AND HORTON Singers and eccentric dancers. This is a very pleasing act of sufficient merit to open the bill and entitled to even better position. Full stage, closing in one. GARDNER AND MADDERN Playing the sketch, "Too Many Darlings", which was received with very considerable applause. Full stage. TALBOT AND ROBERS Travesty artists. They do some straight singing which is fine but their burlesque work we do not care for. Their own drop in one. CHARLES SWEET Playing his same old act but just as big a hit as ever. Full stage closing in one. HENRY LEE He presents an act entitled "Great Men, Past and Present." His work is studied, artistic, finished and is fine an act as we ever played. Full stage and carries his own set. PAULINE HALL Same act as ever and well received. All in one. THE MAXSMITH DUO Jugglers and balancers on unsupported ladders. Very fair act. Full stage. H. Winnifred DeWitt.
