38 CHASE'S THEATRE. WASHINGTON, D. C. Week Oct. 19th. The Behman Show. LEON AND ADELINA. Jugglers. Just a fair little act and not strong enough to open the show in this house. Full stage. SULLIVAN AND PASQUELENA. An exemplification of a newsboy and East Side girl. Characters not well known by the general public in this city and therefore was not enthusiastically received. All in one. BURTON AND BROOKS. Very well received. Always have a new act and it is full of clever wit and good songs. Full stage, can close in one. CHARLIE ROSSON. Sang two songs in as good form as ever and pleased. In one. FELIX AND BARRY. Their act was in some respects new and I believe went stronger than any previous performance. Miss Barry rendered her new songs in a pleasing manner and Mr. Felix in his acrobatic work is exceedingly good. Full stage. INTERMISSION. THE ROSSON MIDGETS. They gave an exhibition of a boxing contest and appear to put as much life and vim in it as ever. Full stage. MR. AND MRS. EDGAR BIXLEY. Mr. Bixley has a fine singing voice and the act should be presented by him alone, should consist of three or four good parodies with five or six minutes of bright monologue and then his work would be valuable and command a good salary. As it is Mrs. Bixley does not belong in the act and some new and different material is required for him. He has too much ability to be wasting his time with his present offering. All in one. THE RUSSELL BROTHERS COMPANY. "A Romance of New Jersey". As fun provokers the Russell Brothers are pre-eminently successful. Their work seems to have lost none of the quality which established their past reputation, and here and there a new touch of humor is noticeable. Full stage closing in one. THE THREE LIVINGSTONES. They give a good acrobatic performance. Full stage. H. Winnifred De Witt.
