41 Chase's Empire. Week of Oct. 19th. Albertus & Millar. Man and woman in a juggling act that is very fair Full stage. Moore & Littlefield. In their sketch "Change Your Act". The novelty of the act, and the interruptions of the stage hands thoroughly delighted the audience. Moore is a satisfactory comedian, and Miss Littlefield is a very good dancer. The act was a hit. Full stage, closing in one. Ed F. Reynard. One of the best ventiloquist in the business. Always goes well here. Full stage. Elizabeth Murray. Songs and stories. She is a favorite here, and was enthusiastically received. All in one. Merian's Dog Pantomime. No trained dog act could compare with it. A mind-reading dog, Caesar performs feats that can scarcely be credited, and performs them unfailingly. The pantomime is at once perfection in training, and the funniest act seen in many a day. It is one that creates no end of talk, and pays for itself several times. Full stage. McIntyre & Heath. Presenting "Dr. Lorenzbreakabones" pleased very well during its progress, but a notable lack of applause at the conclusion. Open in one, full stage. Melani Trio. Pleased the audience every minute, and were frequently interrupted by applause. In one. Keit & Rusick. Two men, hand and head balancers. Very good, but nothing new. Full stage.
