49 CHASE'S EMPIRE. Week of Oct. 26. CLEVELAND. Hyde's Comedians. Cole & Warner. Two men. Their attempts at German comedy are pathetic. They finished with some fair dancing. Open in two, close in one. 14 minutes. Carr & Burns. Two men, who bill themselves as "The Thespian and the Quaint Little Irishman". The act maybe all right, but our audience did not care for it. 20 minutes, can close in one. Hill & Whittaker. Man and woman, banjoists and singers. Went very well. In one. 10 minutes. Paul Kleist. In a high novel "Black Art" and musical act. His illusions are clever and surprising. His playing is good. The act pleased very much. Full stage, closing in one. 20 minutes. Four Holloways. Three of them perform on a wire, and are far superior to any performers in their line. Their feats are sensational, and are performed unfailingly. They were received enthusiastically. Full stage. 13 minutes. The Four Mortons. The hit of the show. Open in one, full stage. 26 minutes. The Piccolo Midgets. Their act has not been changed any, but it seemed to please the audience very much. Open in one, full stage. 16 minutes. Bennett & Young. Illustrated songs. Though the songs are old, the act went very well, and held the audience. 10 minutes in one.
