51 CHASE'S THEATRE. WASHINGTON, D. C. Week Oct. 26th. CHARLES MILDARE. This is an unusually meritorious act. His whistling excels that of any person we have ever known. He opened the bill creating more enthusiasm than any act ever placed in that position. Act of sufficient worth to go in any position on the bill. All in one. Johnny Baker and Louie Lynn. They offer a farce full of action and laughs and an improvement is noticed over their last appearance. Full stage. GEORGE C. DAVIS. He is the same success with us as a joke and story teller and while very little of his material has been changed he appeared to please as on previous occasions. All in one. JEAN MARCEL'S ART STUDIES. This is the most brilliant feature of the bill. The reproductions are those of famous paintings, sculpture and bas reliefs and are truly remarkable as regards fidelity and cleverness of execution. Full stage. INTERMISSION. LEWIS AND RYAN. They presented "The Wireless Telephone", which I regard as the best of their offerings. Laughter continues throughout. Full stage. JOSEPHINE SABEL. Her songs are changed and her work is not materially different. That which chiefly commends her is the snap and vigor which she puts into her work. All in one. THE BARROWS-LANCASTER CO. They played their new act "A Chip of the Old Block". This is a worthy successor to "Tactics", which I always regarded as their best. It caused no end of merriment and was well played. Full stage. THE VITAGRAPH. Colored films. The rise and fall of Napoleon. Good. H. Winnifred De Witt.
