58 CHASE'S THEATRE. WASHINGTON, D. C. Week Nov. 2nd. BIMM, BOMM, BRRR. A very nice musical act to open the bill with, and some improvement is noticed over previous appearances. Full stage closing in one. LA BELLE DAZIE. Probably the best toe dancer on the stage and gave her work with dash that made it very pleasing. Full stage. HARRY LE CLAIR. His impersonations of stage characters, principally women, was most artistically and commendably done. The work was received in the most approving manner, and one of the most valuable acts on the bill. Full stage closing in one. NIRVANA. With the aid of her horse, Loki, she presented pictures chosen from historic and romantic subjects which were pleasing and interesting. The act with the proper settings would stand among the foremost features in vaudeville. She carries her own curtain, backings, etc., which are very very bad. Full stage. INTERMISSION. ZELMA RAWLSTON. Her character songs and changes are good, delighted the audience and an improvement is noted on her former work. Full stage closing in one. CUSHMAN, HOLCOMBE AND CURTIS. Their sketch, "Swells at Sea" had not been given here before, and while their special scenery is good and the musical numbers acceptable, yet the comedy is not in keeping with their former efforts. Full stage closing in one. GEORGE PRIMROSE AND THE FOLEY BROTHERS. Their reception was an ovation which continued till the curtain fell. Full stage. THE VITAGRAPH. There was presented a natural history study showing fifteen phases of bee culture, preceded by some comedy views. A very interesting film. H. Winnifred De Witt.
