66 CHASE'S THEATRE. WASHINGTON, D. C. Week Nov. 9th. A. D. ROBBINS. Trick bicyclist. He does some very excellent work, but actually spoils its good effect by the numerous fumbles and misses. Full stage. EDDIE MACK. This is a fine dancing novelty and the best we play for the money. In one. JESSIE COUTHOUI. She is a very clever woman and tells her stories in a catchy manner that brings a hearty response from the audience, but think it would be better for her to omit the pathetic recitation at the finish. Works in two with an encore in one. THE MONTROSE TROUPE. Among the very best acrobatic acts we have ever witnessed or played. Full stage. INTERMISSION. THE COLUMBIAN TRIO. There are really five of them, ranging from a tiny child to adults, and the act which consists of singing, dancing and Little Claire's piano playing is highly commended by us. Full stage, can do encore in one if required. GEO. W. DAY. "In cork". Day is a splendid blackface comedian using new material frequently and is so clever that our audience would enjoy him forty minutes instead of twenty. In one. JOHNNY AND EMMA RAY. They present "Casey, the Fireman", accompanied by shrieks of laughter, and we must admit that as a laugh provoker they have no superior. Full stage closing in one. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH gives views of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" which are good. H. Winnifred De Witt.
