85 85 Shea's Empire Cleveland, O. Week of Nov. 23, 1903. Reno & Smith Two men, acrobatic comedians. Very good opening act. Full stage 10 min. Ruth Nelta Singing comedienne. Very bad. 9 Min. In one. Midgley & Carlisle In their new juvenile act "Taking A Tonic". Theses artistic performers delighted the audience from start to finish. Full stage, closing in one. 26 min Haidabura Family Two men and a girl, Russian dancers. One of the best small novelties of the season. Sing well and do the violent Russian dancing entirely satisfactorily Full stage 12 min. Mark Sullivan Though hampered by a bad cold, he thoroughly pleased the audience with his imitations. In one 18 min. Robert Hilliard & Co. "Number 973" The best pathetic sketch seen in this house for many a day. Audience was held breathless until the finish, when they greeted Hilliard and his company with storms of applause and repeated curtain calls. Not only the hit of the bill but the hit of the season. Full stage 24 min. A. O. Duncan His ventriloqual act, as usual, was ful of pat and humorous stuff. Went very well. in one 17 min. Hayes & Healy In their new act " The Clerk and the Bell Boy". The ludicrous contrast of their appearance held the audience in a mood of expectancy, but they did nothing worth while until reaching the old finish finish in which the midget gives a funny imitation of a circus rider. Full stage 16 min. Kinetograph A long and interesting film, illustrating the life of napoleon. Held the audience, and received considerable applause.
