96 2nd REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF DECEMBER 7, 1903. (covering reports on acts no reviewed on 1st report.) Charles Lovenberg, Manager. THE BROWNINGS In their regular sketch, a little Christmas story, which is a very tame offering indeed. It is supposed to be a little comedy with a plot and there is really some foundation for a sketch there, but both the author and the actors fall short. 20 Min. 3 shows. Full stage. Can close in one. Mr. & Mrs. Larry Shaw. Clog dancers. These people do a very nice act indeed, and would be acceptable in almost any part of the bill, except very late. 10 Min. in one. 3 shows. JULIAN ROSE Last night, for the first time in his career in this house, this man made something of a hit, altho he is still not up to the mark of his salary for us. FINLAY & BURKE In their changed position on the bill, these people went very much stronger than in the afternoon. 96 Raymond Finlay & Lottie Burke. These people got on awfully late and the audience were pretty tired and it was hard to tell just how they would be received. Judging from their work I should call them very good and look for them to make a hit. tonight. 17 minutes open in three, close in one, 2 shows. Four Sensational Boises. While these people do not do as wonderful work as the Four Lukens, it is something more of a thriller in view of the fact that they use a woman and boy and the act must be rated as exceptionally strong. 9 min. full stage, 2 shows. BIOGRAPH. Good collection of views.
