101 NEW YORK SHOW--Week Of December 7th.--2. thing the equal the poses of these subjects. They seem to be able to remain absolutely motionless for any length of time desired, and when in one or two cases they break the picture in view of the audience the applause would apparently indicate that a majority of the patrons had been unable to decide whether they were actually living figures or carvings. There are only six or seven people connected with the act, but what they do is really wonderful. They are bound to make a tremendous hit wherever they appear. 20 minutes, full stage. GRR-2-GEORGE C. DAVIS.--Mr. Davis turned up this morning clothed and in his right mind, and when in that condition he can always be relied upon to make a hit here. He had several new stories and a lot of old ones, but he went very strong indeed with them all. 20 minutes in one. MRR-2- WILFRED CLARKE & CO.-- In a piece called "In the Biograph." The company consists of Mr. Clark and wife, and another lady and a man. The sketch, as every one knows, is of an absolutely farsical character without plot, or rhyme, or reason, but there is no gain saying the fact that it is a genuine laugh-breeder. Went very strong here this afternoon. 18 minutes, full stage. GNH-2-GUS WILLIAMS.--Gus is the same artist that he has always been and had quite a lot of new material, and I think his method of presenting his act in evening clothes is an improvement. He was placed very badly this afternoon, but this will be remedied on the night show. 13 minutes in one. GKH-2-THE GILLETT TRIO.--Two men and a woman in an eccentric acrobatic act, one of the men making up straight and does some remarkable balancing and is besides quite a clever acrobat. The other man does an eccentric comedy bit, in which he introduces a lot of funny falls. His methods are rather of the English order, but he manages to secure some laughs, and the act in its entirety is a very good one. 9 minutes, full stage. HR.--BIOGRAPH.-- A very good selection of views this week, the principal feature of which was entitled "In a Moving Picture Studio" showing the taking of a picture with some comedy effects at the finish. 18 minutes in one. S. K. HODGDON.
