104 104 HYDE & BENHAM's Brooklyn, New York City. Week commencing December 7th, 1903. HARPER, DESMOND & BAILEY. Singers and Dancers. Two colored women and one man. They are fair singers and dancers, dialogue good. It is lively and makes a good opening act. Open in Two, close in one. Time 12 minutes. J. C. NUGENT & CO. "A Peculiar Proposition". Mr. Nugent is assisted by Miss Jessie Charron. They are both good and the act went well. Good dressers and stage appearance good. Full stage. Time 20 minutes. AURIE DAGWELL. "The Girl of '61". This is her first appearance in this house, and gives entire satisfaction. Has a remarkably sweet voice, and selections good. Her war songs created great applause.Makes fine appearance on stage. Good act. All in one. Time 13 minutes. MIDGLEY & CARLISLE. Sammy & Sarah "After school." This team has been here so often that it is unnecessary to make much comment. They go just as strong as ever, always a hit. Full stage, close in one. Time 27 minutes. MR. & MRS. PERKINS FISHER. "The Half-way House". This is a good act, bright dialogue, and always goes well here, we consider them very good artists. Full stage. Time 20 minutes. JOHN D. GILBERT. He is a good comedian. Operatic imitations very good. All in one. Time 20 minutes. BILLY B. VAN & ROSE BEAUMONT. "My Busiy Day"/ This is Van's old sketch, which every one knows. It is funny and well played. Miss Beaumont is a fine looking woman, dresses elegantly, acts and dances well. They received several curtain calls. A good act for here. Full stage. Time 22 minutes. FISHER & CARROLL. Eccentric comedians. Same old act, they are fair comedians and singers. Went very well. All in one. Time 18 minutes. MILLY CAPELL. Empress Equestrienne. Her Arabian Stallion and trained dogs, make a closing act of rare excellence and interest. A decided hit. Miss Capell is graceful and commanding, and has excellent control over her horse and dogs. Full stage. Time 12 minutes.
