130 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Week of Dec. 28th, 1903. SULLIVAN & PASQUELENA: Man and woman in a comedy singing sketch "A Newsboy's Appeal". It is not a first class act, but it is better than some we have had and it appeared to please the audience through it was not in the best place on the bill. F. S. 12 mins. 6 min. in one. THREE LIVINGSTONS: One man and two women in parlor acrobatics. The three are in evening dress and give a very entertaining act. The acrobatics are not thrillers and they went very well here. F. S. 6 mins. CHARLES ROSSOW: The youngest of the Lilliputian Brothers Rossow is a neat singing act. His voice is not the best but he pleases the ladies and children. 7 mins. in one. BURTON & BROOKS: Two men in a sketch called "A Can of Humor". Burton represents a millionaire and Brooks a British lordling in search of an American heiress. The work is a dialogue in the nature of a repartee in which the Britisher gets the worst of it. Some of the so-called gags are new. It went very well here. 18 mins. F. S. 6 mins. in one. FELIX & BARRY: GEORGE FELIX & LYDIA BARRY in a comedy singing and acrobatic act called "The Doings of Johnnie Jones". Felix appears in his old character and Barry sings a sentimental ballad as old as Chauncey Depew. They were one of the hits of the bill here. 28 mins. F. S. EDGAR BIXLEY: A bewhiskered individual who sings parodies sandwiched between monologue. He is not the greatest singer or monologuist on earth, but he pleased the holiday crowds. 13 mins. in one. RUSSELL BROTHERS: They appeared in their old act "The Irish Servant Girls". Nearly everyone in the audience has seen these performers on other occasions. Those who had not seen them appreciated and applauded them. 18 mins. F. S. 6 mins. in one. ROSSOW MIDGETS: They give an excellent boxing act and were received with plenty of applause. F. S. 9 mins. PARKERS DOGS: An excellent dog act but is not to be compared with other dog acts we have staged. F. S. 8 mins.
