140 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Jan 4, 1904 HAYES & HEALY: Two men, one a dwarf, in a comedy sketch "The Clerk and the Bell Boy". The act never has been popular here. It opened the show and went fairly well. 12 mins F S. 5 mins. in one. HERBERT LLOYD: A new comer here. He does a comedy juggling act and has some new devices in mechanics. His juggling is not the best but he managed to please the audience. 12 mins. F S. ETHEL LEVEY: Singing and dancing act. This young matron always makes good with the Temple audiences. She has a new song "If I were Mr. Morgan". that made quite a hit All in one. FILSON & ERROL: Man and woman in a straight sketch "A Daughter of Bacchus". Both appear in a drunken scene which ends with a moral. The act may please most audiences but here it is not looked upon as the strongest in the business. 24 mins. F. S. CHARLES KENNA: This turn in one went very well. Kenna appears a street Fakir and works in much comedy. He has considerable new stuff and is not too lazy to work up local hits. 18 mins. in one.
