192 NEW YORK SHOW--WEEK OF FEBRUARY 15--2. MLLE BALLERINI.-- On the balancing trapeze. A very graceful woman and does a great turn in her line. I consider, however, that the dancing that she does at the commencement of her act is rather superfluous. 13 minutes, full stage. GHR 2 DILLON BROS.-- Parody singers. They gave us an entirely new act this afternoon. Every song that they sang was fresh. They did not go quite as well as I would like to have seen them, but I attribute it largely to the suburban character of the audience. 17 minutes in one. YHR 2 WATERBURY BROS & TENNEY.-- It rather seemed to me this afternoon as though this act was going back a little. They had a hard place on the bill and were doubtless rather nervous and uneasy on that account, but they certainly did not show the same amount of spirit and unction that has heretofore distinguished them. They are all three clever musicians and Tenney, as we all know, is a good comedian. I hope that with a little rearrangement of the bill we can give them a place which will make them more at ease. 19 minutes, open full stage, and close in one. GYH 2 THE MACKWOODS DUO.-- This is a European act which has recently been over the circuit and was obliged to bring them back here this week on account of my inability to fill the time elsewhere. It is a very bright, pleasing little act with an element of novelty which makes it attractive. S. K. HODGDON.
