204 World & Kingston. this was the greatest fall down of the whole show. I had them down ahead of the Carmen Troupe which position they in no way could hold. They got a little applause in spots but went off with scarcely a thing. There is some merit in the act undoubtedly but they seem to lack the force necessary to reach the audience. The act also somewhat conflicts with that of Gardner & Vincent, for that reason they were no doubt handicapped and they should not be on one of our bills later than 8:30 or three in the afternoon. 24 min. open and close in one, 2 shows. Leroy & Clayton. this was the big laughing hit of the show. Their new act has certainly got some very clever, bright, and funny lines, and to my mind, is an improvement over their old sketch. Strong enough for almost any place on the bill. 21 min. full stage, 2 shows. Brittons. While this act is hardly fitted for this late place on the program and is the only act in one or closing in one that could in any way hold the place down, I was obliged to put them there. Their act is too well known to need discussion and always goes well. In an earlier place they are sure to make a big hit. 18 min. 2 shows. Carmen Troupe. I expected from these people only a wire walking act and was surprised to have them introduce some most remarkable tumbling. Their wire walking is also probably the best we have ever had in this house and certainly the most attractive. The act made an unqualified hit and is unquestionably the feature of the show. 15 min. full stage 2 shows. Biograph. Exceptionally good collection of pictures.
