223 Clayton White and Marie Stuart, 2 shows, 32 min. full stage--Presenting for the first time here their new comedy sketch, "Paris" which scored a big hit. It is better than "Dickey". Mr. White and Miss Stuart are artists. Can be booked to return any time. McCue and Cahill, 2 shows, 12 min. in 1--Two superior ballad singers but hardly strong enough so far down on the bill. All their selections were encored. Annie Abbott, 2 shows, 25 min. full stage--Psychological marvel. The act is interesting and humorous by turns, and scored a bigger hit than any featured attraction we have had here for a long time. There is no question that she will draw big business. Biograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Fair list of pictures, which seemed to give perfect satisfaction to the audience. Rosaire, 3 shows, 10 min. full stage--Excellent wire performer. Will get better place in the bill after today, probably changing him with Carlotta Delmar. Comments:- The show is a big draggy clear down to the White-Stuart act. I do not mean that it is in anyway a poor one, and it may have been partially the fault of the audience, which was an apathetic assemblage, and I think, too, largely made up of people who were not regular vaudeville patrons, nut had been drawn through curiosity to see Annie Abbott. There is no question but that we will do big business.
