Digby Bell. Mr. Bell gives a very clean-cut, refined monologue. One half of his stuff is new. It was well rendered and well accepted, but now that the value of his name has gone from frequent appearances, I think his salary should be about $100. less than it is; in fact I wouldn't care to play him again at the same figure unless he gave some special strong material. 21 min. 2 shows, in one.
Howard & Bland. These people are entitled to credit by making an effort to give a new act although they have fallen somewhat short. I don't want to give the impression that the act is bad in fact, I shall continue it in preference to repeating their old act but after MOORE & LITTLEFIELD'S turn, which this much resembles, they fall very short. Leona Bland however does in this the best work I have ever seen her do, showing she has some ability if they had just the proper vehicle. 23 min. full stage, 2 shows.
Warren & Gardner. Next to Spadoni this act went the best of anything on the bill. Has been described before and further comment is unnecessary. 20 min. in one, 2 shows.
Rice & Elmer. In their same old comedy bar act which went fairly well. 12 min. full stage, 2 shows.
