PHILADELPHIA SHOW, DEC. 26TH'04. H. A. DANIELS. CROWLEY & FOLEY-KR-3-Two men, one working grotesque, other straight. Talking, singing and dancing comedians. Just a fair three show act. Good enough for an opener. Good dancers. Cut out: "She must have been a dirty old thing." 14 mins. in one. THREE MADCAPS-GRR-3-Three girls, novelty acrobatic dancers. Their work received some applause in spots. Act can be classed as good for the three show section, although it is a bit rough in some places. 9 mins Gar in 3. ED. MULLEN & DOG-3-Dog is a fox terrier. Mullen works as a tramp. Dog is a better actor than the man. Animal is well trained, and the act is very acceptable for the early bill. 15 mins. Gar. in 5. Close inone. MLLE. OLIVE-2-(Salary with Harding & Ah Sid) Juggler. Not an exceptionally good one for two shows. She misses frequently. With the holiday audience this afternoon she went very well, and received applause in spots. 14 mins. Gar in 4. MARKEY & MORAN-ER-3-Two men, Irish comedians. The kind of act our regular patrons can't "see." With the holiday audience to-day they went well. Their jokes were laughed at, and they received scattered applause. 17 mins. in one. HARDING & AH SID-YHR-2-Two men, well known comedy acrobatic act--the clown and the Chinaman. Went very well to-day and closed very strong. Good act for the early two show section. 13 mins. Kit. in 3. THE LUCIERS-KR-3-Man and woman, rural comedy sketch. Very good act of its kind for the three show division. 16 mins. Farm drop in 4. LIQUID AIR-MYH-2-Second week. Seemed to interest the holiday crowd. However, they wont stand for it twice, and it will be a good chaser for the second show at 3 o'clock. Good act. 25 mins. in one. ORPHEUS COMEDY FOUR-YRR-2-Four men, comedy vocal act. Comedy is good in spots. Good vocalist. Their work was liberally applauded. 9 mins. in one. BOSTON BROS.-GNH-2-Hand to hand balancers, acrobats and equilibrists. A corking good act, full of action, and goes with a jump from the start. 6 mins. Gar. in 4. GEO. W. DAY-GYH-2-Well known monologuist and story teller. The "Uneeda Biscuit Man." The holiday crowd seemed to like his stuff, and his stories and songs seemed to go. 11 mins. in one. SUGIMOTO JAPS.-YRR-3-Five japs, balancing act, and a dandy. Better than many two show acts. Nearly every trick was liberally applauded. 15 mins. Gar. in 4. DIGBY BELL-MRR-2-Well known on the circuit. Everything seemed to go with a hurrah to-day, and his monologue was no exception. Had some new stuff, and some old. Good act. 14 mins. in one. COLE & JOHNSON-YHR-2-Act is too well known for comment. They received advance applause on their entrance. Always present a very good act. 16 mins. C.D.F. in 3. Close in-one. Defense of Port Arthur. Only fair fake picture. THE UNWELCOME BABY. Fair comedy. THE CHICKEN THIEF. Good real life chasing picture.
