93 PHILADELPHIA SHOW, FEB. 20TH'05. H. A. DANIELS. KIT KARSON-AR-3-Didn't show up. CARMEN SISTERS-NH-3-Banjoists. Good for a place in the three show division. Neatly dressed act. 8 mins. in one. BARRETT & BELLE-KR-3-Man and woman, comedy sketch "The Policeman and the Maid." Plays off like one of those western Walla-Walla sketches. No harm in the early three show division. All right for the place. 13 mins. Gar. in 3. Close in one. FRANCIS GERARD-GHR-2-Equilibrist and acrobat. Opens with posing in a cabinet, as usual. Act is well known on the circuit. Good two show sight act for the money. 11 mins. Gar. in 4. FRED BROWN-AR-3-Singing, dancing and monologue. Most natural coon make-up I have ever seen. Quite a pleasing little dancing act, very short, and the finish is not very strong. Good for three shows. 8 mins. in one. OLLIE YOUNG & BROTHER-GHR-2-Two men, hoop rolling and juggling. quite a showy little act. Went well in this place, getting frequent applause. Finished strong. 9 mins. Gar. in 5. THREE MITCHELLS-KR-3-Man, woman and girl, colored singing and dancing act. Well known on the circuit. A good lively act, very valuable for the three show division. Took three encores. 15 mins. in one. FOUR HUNTINGS-YRR-2-Three men and a woman. Sketch "A Night in the Fool House." Acrobatic comedy act, full of action and life throughout. Very good act, closed strong. 17 mins. C.D.F. in 3. HAL MERRITT-GRR-2-Well known crayon artist. His "patter" was mostly new, and quite bright. Kept the audience in the best of humor. Has improved. Good act. 16 mins. in one. SIDNEY DREW & CO.-MRR-2- Presenting "The Yellow Dragon." Second time in this house. Act has been previously described. Went very well to-day, with sincere applause at the close. 21 mins. C.D.F. in 3. GEO. H. WOOD-GHR-2-Monologue. A good act. Always goes well in this house, especially appreciated by the orchestra patrons. A little above the heads of a cold Monday matinee--but will go much better to-night. 26 mins. in one. KAUFMANN TROUPE-MHR-2-Old troupe of six. Best bike act on the stage. Always make a hit here. 11 mins. Full stage. MADDOX & PROUTY-GNH-2-"The Messenger Boy and the Actor." Got the audience after four or five minutes, and held them for the balance of the act. Good act. 19 mins. in one. HOWARD'S PONIES & DOGS-YHR-2- Four ponies and four dogs. Carries own scenery--a cyclorama circus interior. Good act. 15 mins. Spec. in 4.
