223 Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1-- Showing the following list of pictures: 1. The North Atlantic Squadron. Excellent picture and a most interesting film at just this time. 2. What Casey Won at the Raffle. Fair comedy film. 3. Little Willie's Last Celebration. Just a fair picture 4. Diving Lucy. Good comedy picture. 5. The Heavenly Twin's at Odds. Of interest to children. J. Warren Keane, 3 shows, 22 min. in 2--Magicians and card manipulator. Quite a nice-looking and pleasing entertainer who does a fair act for the early 3-show division. Charlotte Stammers, 3 shows, 8 min. in 1--Vocalist of only fair ability even from the 3-a-day standpoint. Merely put in to fill needed time in the supper show. Would not care to have her again. Russell & Tillyne, 3 shows, 13 min. in 3--Eccentric and acrobatic dancers with some vocalism. Will do very well for an early 3-a-day act. Comment: The show is miles behind that of last week, its redeeming feature being Albaugh and May with a close second of Quinlan and Mack. Elton-Polo's baggage did not appear on the scene and we were obliged to close with Vontello and Nina, which of course weakened the show materially. Tonight I close with Galletti's monkeys. The day was warm and very oppressive but in spite of that fact we had quite a summer audience, who, as usual, were not over and above enthusiastic. With a rearrangement of the show it will no doubt go better, although with the material at hand, we cannot produce a show of the previous week's excellence.
