1. Report on show, Keith's Theatre, Providence R.I. Week of April 30th, 1906. (Charles Lovenberg, Mgr.) While the show this week is not "great" i plays evenly well and I think will make good. That acts in one as a whole are better than full stage acts. Gates & Nelson. One of these men are new and I don;t see that it effects the act any which never amounted to a great deal, in my mind anyway. 13 min. full stage, 3 shows. Millership Sisters. Two rather good looking young girls who dress well and offer a very fair turn of singing and dancing. Thoroughly all right in the three a day section. 10 min. in 1, 3 shows. The Trillers. Rag pictures. Not a great act but one that is out of the ordinary min in the three show section and for that reason is most acceptable. 12 min. full stage, 3 shows. John Geiger & Nellie Walters. Offering a novel idea called "In the Streets of Italy". They make up as Italian Street musicians, the woman playing a piano organ the man violin. The comedy is much better than one would expect form Geiger, in fact it is quite good. his imitations seem to have improved. The act is thoroughly all right and can safely go on in the early two a day section. 30 min. in 2, can work in 1, 3 shows. Les Auberts. Acrobatic dancers. These acts never go very well in this house, even the better ones. The act is all right, no fault could be found with it except that out audiences don't care for this style of work. 9 min. full stage, 2 shows. The Misses Delmore. I can't see what these young women have a tremendous amount of ability, but they are very neat, dress attractively and manage to have rather good material, and in that way, get by. At the salary-they are all right, but I wouldn't want to see them getting any more. 21 min. in 2 (can work in 1) 2 shows. Irving Jones. Coon songs and stories. Made quite a hit here this afternoon. 20 min. in 1, 2 shows. Arthur & Mildred Boylan. Two children assisted by their mother in a neat little sketch concluding with acrobatic work. It is a dainty little thing and at the price, is all right. 22 min. full stage, 2 shows. Nichols Sisters. For the first time- these girls made a hit here. Their material, I should say, is much better than on their previous engagements. 16 min. in 1, 2 shows. Lawrence & Harrington. These people didn't do quite as well as I expected. Goes pretty well in spots, but sags a great deal; and leave a strong impression at the finish. As a while, i can only class it as fairly good. 20 min. full stage, 2 shows. KATIE BARRY. Well-known English comedienne who was a decided hit in the toughest place on the bill. 12 min. in 1, 2 shows. Leon Morris' Circus. This act has been described before and while it is an improvement upon the old act that he used to give us, I can't say that I think it is worth the great difference in salary we are paying it. To my mind, they are getting about $100. too much. 30 min. full stage, 2 shows. Chas. Lovenberg, Mgr.
