2 Cook and Madison, 2 shows, 21 min. Open in 1, go to full stage and close in 1--In a talking and comedy acrobatic act. They held down this spot in great shape and scored laughter all through, in spite of the fact that Creatore had taken a good deal of the starch out of them. Pekin Zouaves, 2 shows, 12 min. Full stage--Fancy drill organization and by far the best we have had here. The show had run 15 to 20 minutes over time but nevertheless the organization made a big hit being frequently interrupted with bursts of applause. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. In 1--Showing the following list of pictures: 1. "Hello, Grinder" Fair comedy. 2. "[Pierot's?] Revenge" Quite a pretty picture. 3."Life of an American Policeman" Fairly interesting 4. "From Christianna to North Cape" Interesting. Inness and Ryan, 3 shows, 16 min. In 1--Man and woman in a vocal and talkingnspecialty. Neither of them have great voices, but they had the happy faculty of making a good choice of selections, and as a consequence, they were liberally applauded in this exceedingly poor spot on the bill today. Comment:- This afternoon the show did not seem to wake up until we got to Creatore. On rearrangement, I think it will be an excellent program, and one with which we will undoubtedly do big business. Eddie Leonard this morning after his scenery was hung came upon the stage and requested his scenery to be taken down and would give neither myself nor the stage manager any reason therefor. Not content with this, he used the rotten east and foulest language that any man has ever used on our stage. Men of this type are not so in dispensable to vaudeville but what they can be gotten along without, as we did very nicely today.
