25 W. C. Fields, 2 shows, 16 min. full stage--Well-known eccentric juggler. Big laughing and applause hit in this spot today. Katie Berry, 2 shows, 12 min. in 1--Miss Berry started off rather slow but got them going after a while and went very well indeed in this tough spot on the bill. Of course she did not make the hit I have seen her make in New York, but her liveliness is just the essential thing for an act in this spot and she kept the audience practicall intact today. Prelle's Dogs, 2 shows, 12 min. full stage--One of the best canine acts we play. It is rather quiet for a closing act, but still it was the most suitable act we had, and again, I think we shall be able to get the children on Saturday and Holiday. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following list of motion pictures: 1. Humorous Phases of Funny Pictures. Good novelty and comedy film. 2. Paul Jones Ceremonies at Annapolis. Very interesting 3. Wig Chase. Comedy film of the chase variety. Tonji Troupe, 2 shows, 20 min. full stage--Three Japanese men and one woman, in feats of magic and illusion. They do a great many of the tricks of the Ten Ichi Troupe, and I believe fully as satisfactorily in every way. These people will be shifted with Ethel Clifton for tomorrow. Mlle. Edna, 3 shows, 8 min. in 1--Quite a pleasing whistling soloist who does very well for the 3-a-day section. Comment:- Owing to the very disagreeable cold rainy weather that he had today, the house was full and the patrons were over enthusiastic. Everything went with laughter and applause. The show on its merits was a good one, well balanced and contains plenty of comedy. With any kind of weather, we will do a big business for the balance of the week.
