50 --(2)-- JOHN & BERTHA GLEESON & FRED HOULIHAN: Fred Houlihan scored big on his piano-playing. Gleeson received a big lot of applause for his dancing. Always goes well here. 17 min.-full stage SABEL JOHNSON: By the way this woman went to-day, one would think she carried her own audience. Received a tremendous applause after each selection. Sang three songs and was compelled to sing the fourth and then take several nows. Applause hit of the show. 11 min. HICKMAN BROTHERS: Well known. This act holds its own and seemed to go fully as strong as when last here. 16 min.-full stage- GUS EDWARDS' SCHOOLBOYS & GIRLS: This is quite novel from the musical end. I was under the impression that it contained more comedy. It is a great advertisement for Gus Edwards's songs and presume he had the house padded, as each number was encored several times. The dancing went very strong. Street scene of in one of the boys and girls was encored repeatedly. 27 min.-full stage-closed in one about 5 min 8 ALLISONS: One of the best acrobatic numbers we play. 11 min. KINETOGRAPH: "The Prospectors" One the Bowery style. Quite interesting "A Tipster taken for a fool" Very good comedy
