92 (2) Kinetograph: On at 4.32, 25 min. "Scenes in Burmah", and interesting series of views. Two of the scenes of the original family cut out, as they were not considered of particular interest. They were "Buddha's Temple" and "Homage to Buddha". "Motor-car For Sale", a fair comedic picture. "Floral Fiesta in Los Angeles", a commonplace film, rather tiresome. Three Abdallah Brothers: On at 4.57, 13 min. Full stage. A very good 3-a-day act, with the making of a 2-a-day in it, I think. The acrobatic work is quite novel in spots, and is, as is always to be expected from Arabian tumblers, remarkably well done. The comedy does not class with the rest of the act. Elsie Boehm: On at 5.10, 7 min. in 1. Rather a pretty girl, with a contralto voice of much depth and power. She did not appear at her best today, as she complained of hoarseness. Markey & Moran: On at 5.17, 13 min. in 1. A very good act, 3-a-day cross-fire conversation. They always make good in an early spot of the 3-a-day section. Cuts were as follows: Austin Walsh: referring to hotel, "Husband and wives can stay here if married". Reference to "Kind-quarters"; reference to "Paris in orchard"; reference to "hair on feet". "Irish club-house"; reference to Hammerstein's latest theatre, and picture that goes with it. Carson and Willard: "Paris beneath trees"; "Appendix in wife's name"; "Ladies' skirts 2/3 off"; "Bathing-suits cut to almost nothing". Doherty Sisters: the question "Did you kill it?" after stamp of foot. Abdallah Brothers: mimicry of praying.
