149 CONTINUED HARRY GILFOIL--- Mr. Gilfoil had a big reception and was just as artistic as ever. I don't know of any single act that can hold the audience like this one, and it really seems better for age. 20 minutes, Drawing Room: close in one. EDMUND DAY & CO.,--- In their well known sketch "The Sheriff"." This act went as well as ever, and the attractive stage setting, and rough pathos of Edmund Day, are too well known to need further comment, 23 minutes full stage. Their own scenery. LEW SULLY--- His monologue and parodies made a big hit, and he got plenty of spontaneous applause. A first-class act to hold up this place. 12 minutes in one. HASSAN BEN ALI'S TOOZOONIN ARABS--- This act made the usual terrific hit and is just as good, if not better than ever. There was no end to the applause, and instead of a lot of people leaving the usual acrobatic act I do out think 10 people left their seats. The finish was a scream. 12 minutes full stage. KINETOGRAPH --- "A few pranks of Satan"-- Very uninteresting--- Will change. NOTE--- This is one of the best all-around shows we have had for some time, but a very difficult one to work. We had two waits (filled in by Orchestra) of 1 1/2 minutes and 1 3/4 minutes, which I will rectify to-night. LINDSAY MORISON.
