Mosher, Houghton & Mosher. On at 3.55, 14 min, full stage. This act is actually better than when here before and is going very strongly indeed. The new member of the team is a great rider, and the act stands today without a superior among bicycle acts.
Houdini. On at 4.09, 25 min, open in 1 5 min. It is the same old story with Houdini. He is certainly a powerful magnet.
Kinetograph. On at 4.35, 20 min, in 1. Two very good films indeed, this week. "Fan-making in Japan", a fine picture and extremely interesting. "The Country Schoolmaster", a very good comedy picture.
Reily & Morgan. On at 5.15, 8 min full stage, 10 min close in 1; 3 shows. After Monday afternoon I buried this act, so as to have it come to the attention of as few people as possible. Never again. The fact that it runs 18 min. is its only redeeming feature.
Cut:-
Lew Hawkins. Caruso verse.
Comment. A show that seems to please. Hawkins was the only fall-down in the 2-a-day section on Monday, but as I have before stated, he came to his own again today, Tuesday. The 3-a-day section is very punk, with the exception of the Meeh Trio. If my memory serves, I do not think that any of the three others will play this house again right away.
