247 243. TEMPLE DETROIT Jan. 21, 1907. J. H. Finn. TWO FRANCISCOS Comedy juggling act, similar to that of Martini & Maximilian, but not as good. 18 min. FS. MAX MILLIAN Violin player, assisted by his sister on the piano. Its a high-class musical act that got a good hand. 12 min. in 3, with plush. ROSAIRE & DORETO Comedy acrobatic act, same as Rice & Prevost, and almost as good. Received lots of applause. 11 min. FS. CLARICE VANCE Brought all new songs and never appeared to better advantage, but she did appear to enthuse our audiences. Perhaps our audiences have tired of coon songs, I don't know. 1o min. in one. HARRY L. TIGHE Presenting, with company, "Those Happy Collegians." This is a good comedy and singing act and was well received. 25 min. FS. MRS. LANGTRY Supported by two good actors in the playlet "Between the Nightfall and the Light." The playlet and the players came up to our expectations, and the name "Mrs. Langtry" proved to be a tremendous drawing card. Both the playlet and the players were much inferior to Arnold Daly and company and his playlet "Hoe He Lied to Her Husband." 19 min. FS. CLIFTON CRAWFORD Although Mr. Crawford brought us no new material he was received with great demonstrations of approval, and more than made good. This man is among the most artistic on the monologue line that we play. 2o min. in one. "THE SUNNY SOUTH" Considerable improvement is noticed in this act since its last presentation here, and it was received very well indeed. Considerable of the dialogue has been cut out, reducing its time and making it brighter and snappier, 2o min. FS. KINETOGRAPH "The Magic Roses," "The Animated Cane," "A Hawaiian Sheep Ranch," and "The Inexperienced Chauffeur," are all good pictures..
