Enigmarelle. This mechanical figure is well known so desxcription is unnecessary. It seemed to go pretty well with the audience, for an act of that kind, and I am inclined to believe it can be worked up, thro efforts on our part, to draw considerable money in the house. We have the figure standing in the Lobby after the show. Tuesday, he will walk down the street and deliver a message to a newspaper office, and on Wednesday, drive a "coach and four" thro the main streets of the city and in that way, probably we can incite considerable interest, and I think the figure will make good. 12 min. full stage, 3 shows. Clarice Vance. Southern Singer. To me, Miss Vance, is the most artistic woman in her line - in the business - altho some others go stronger with the audience. She went exceptionally well today though and after four songs was obliged to make a little speech before they would let her off. 12 min. in 1, 2 shows. Barrows, Lancaster & Co. In the sketch "Thanksgiving Day". Rather a noisy affair, and to my mind, not as good or as well acted as a good many other dramatic sketches that we get. As far as this house is concerned, these people have never made a real hit since they first played "Tactics." 24 min. full stage, 2 shows. Rogers & Desley. Two men, one whiteface; the other, blackface. One, an exceptionally good singer; the other has a good voice also. The comedian is exceedingly funny and while all of their stuff is not new, they work it over in such fashion as to make it go very strongly. They were a decided hit, in a very hard spot. 20 min. in 1, 2 shows. Onlaw Trio. Two men who suspend by their teeth on the wire, a woman while she does various tricks. Well-known act, decided novelty, and always goes well; prettily staged, also. 10 min. full stage, 2 shows. Pictures. O. K.
