28. CLEVELAND SHOW WEEK FEB. 25, 1907. DORSCH & RUSSELL: Novelty Comedy Offering, Entitled " The Musical Railroaders". This was one of the best opening acts we have ever had. Two men who work in a special railroad scene using the different things around a railroad station for instruments. Full Stage. 15 minutes. Close in one 5 minutes. ARTHUR & MILDRED BOYLAN AND COMPANY: Presenting, " Jack and Jill". A woman and two children, who do a very neat little sketch called " Jack and Jill", which seems to please very well, especially the children. They close the act with some very clever tumbling. Good applause at finish. 19 minutes Interior. DILLON BROS: Parody Manufacturers. I don't think this act needs very much comment as far as Cleveland is concerned, as it even went bigger to-day than ever before. Received some advance applause, and a very large amount at close. I think the act was better than it ever was. 19 minutes in one. Street. CHAS SERRA: Famous European Equilibrist. This is one of the best equilibrist acts we have ever had here, and went very well. 7 minutes. Palace. Special Black Drop. ELMER TENLEY: Monologue. 13 minutes in one. A laugh from start to finish. EDWARD CONNELLY AND CO: In " Marse Covington", a Playlet by George Ade. This was one of the best little sketches we have ever had and held the interest of the audience all through. Should make good on any bill as it appeals to all classes of people. 21 minutes. Interior. ETHEL LEVEY: While there is no doubt that this woman is going to draw us a lot of money, owing to the fact of her recent divorce, and Mr Edeson also playing in town, who is supposed to marry her next. Her repertoire of songs were not as good as they should be. All of her songs this afternoon were very old and the general remarks of the audience was, " why don't she do more Cohan stuff? Nevertheless, the act went very good. Received quite a bit of advance applause, and fair applause at finish. 12 minutes in one. Drape. BAILEY AND AUSTIN: Grotesque Comedians And Acrobats. This act is very well known on Circuit, and will say that it went as good here as ever, considering that they were closing the show. Full Stage. 10 Minutes. J. H. Rand
