TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. April 1, 1907. J. H. Finn. Cartelle Bros. Comedy roller skating act that appeared to hit our audience in the right spot. Got a laugh for every fall, and there were a dozen a minute. 8 min. FS. 3 in one. Musical Avolos. Two men and two women who are experts on the xylophones, and appear to know the requirements of vaudeville. 11 in two. Harry La Dell & Ross Crouch. This is an excellent singing, dancing and comedy act for this spot, the woman in particular being very spirited in her dancing and quite good to look upon. 11 min. FS. 4 min. in one. Julian Eltinge. Although this excellent performer has been seen here on two previous occasions his unmasking appeared to cause the same sensation as it did on his first appearance here. He is inimitable in his line and thoroughly enjoyable. 1o min. in 3. Peter Donald & Meta Carson. Presenting a "dream" comedy, singing and dancing act. This act was a surprise to us for we did not expect more than the ordinary, while it turned out to be one of the best acts of the kind we ever played. The singing is excellent, the comedy refreshing, and the act moves with rapidity. 14 min. in two. 4 min. in one. WILLIAM H. THOMPSON & CO. Supported by Thomas H. Ince, an excellent actor; Manuel Alexander, and Nicholas Carroll, presenting the very strong dramatic sketch "FOR LOVE'S SWEET SAKE." For the vaudeville theaters of the upper crust this act is a gem of the purest water. The acting on the part of Thompson and Mr. Ince has never been excelled on any stage. It pulls clear to the root of the heart strings. 22 min. FS. Katie Barry. Miss Barry repeated the big success she made here on her former apapearance. 13 min. in one. The Aribos. A very good European athletic and equilibristic act that was quite effective in closing our show. 8 min. FS. Kinetograph. "Ascending Mt. Blanc" is a rather flat picture with a sameness about it that gows tiresome. ######
