(2) Mary Norman. On at 8.36, 18 min, in 1 1/2. Was quite warmly greeted and made her usual hit here. I think, however, that Miss Norman has got to get something new if she is going to hold her place among the headliners. Three Dumonds. On at 8.54, 15 min, in 1. The opening part of the act dragged a bit this afternoon, but the violin solo at the finish won two rousing encores. Tonight they cut out one of their songs and went even better than at the matinee. Harry L. Tighe's Collegians. On at 9.09, 25 min, full stage. One of the real genuine hits of the season, and Mr. Paul Keith is the authority for the statement that the act met with as hearty a reception as he had ever seen accorded a new presentation in this house. We have made arrangements to retain it for a second week and are very glad we are able to do so. I do not see how it could fail to score heavily in any house, for it is novel, bright, full of action, and so true to life that it will appeal to any audience. Vesta Victoria. On at 9.34, 28 min, in 1. Miss Victoria's second and final week. She is apparently as big a hit as last week. I think, however, that we have got the cream of the can, and if she plays against us the coming season in Boston, that she will be an expensive proposition for the party who plays her. Wilton Bros. On at 10.02, 8 min, full stage. One of the best acrobatic comedy acts in the business. It starts a little slow, but when the comedian gets working full speed, the audience simply shrieks. Kinetograph. On at 10.10, 20 min. "Cream Eating Competition", corking good short comedy film. "Constructing a Fishing Boat (France)", rather interesting. "His First Ride", another good comic. Comment. A really great show, one of the very best of the season, and one that is sure to make a lot of talk. Cuts:- Kelly & O'Brien. Spitting in face, and accompanying lines and business. Fred Lennox & Co. Requested not have butler's make-up so ghastly. Cut "I ordered liver".
