TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. May 6, 1907.- J. H. Finn. DUBOIS' EDUCATED BABOON- A truly remarkable animal, and a nice, little act to start the performance. 8 min. FS. PICCOLO MIDGETS- This act has been played here so often that I am of the opinion our audiences are thoroughly tired of it. 15 min. JACK GARDNER- Brought some new material but nothing particularly bright or entertaining. Was received apathetically. 14 min. in one. FLOOD BROS.- These comedy acrobats are too well known on the circuit for particular mention. Same act as heretofore. 10 FS. 3 in one. MURRAY SISTERS- Marion and Victoria. Very neat dressers, fine stage presence, good songs, and excellent voices. 11 in one. ROBERT HILLIARD- Presenting "As a Man Sows." Supported by Edwin Holland, Miss Frances Whitehouse, Little Wanda Carlyle. This act is the best in the Hilliard repertoire, and of course was capitally acted. The stage setting was the dream of an artist, and the whole effect was the most delightful of many seasons. 27 min. FS. ROGERS & DEELEY- "The Singer and His Valet." A very good singing and comedy act that was received very well indeed. 18 min. in one. NED WAYBURN'S SIDE SHOW- This act lacks atmosphere as well as other essentials but the blowing up of the girls arms and legs sent it away in fine shape. Harry Pilcer and Dot Williams in the leading parts are all right. 25 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH- "Japanese Women," and "Tobogganing at St. Mortiz," are two of the best pictures of the season.
