CONTINUED. BERNAR'S MANNIKINS. Corking good act. Just as good as any of the others. Bernar's manipulation of the figures if wonderful. The only bad thing about the act is that the setting is not quite as good as it might be. Big applause. 16 minutes, full stage. AHRENSMAYER. Hypnotist. This act went with a scream, but is hardly in showman shape yet. He uses about 15 men on the stage, and the comedy is very good. It is an act that will draw us a lot of money, and after a show or two more-will be more compact. I am going to tell him to give the announcer more to do. Would advise managers to try and see it about Wednesday or Thursday. 33 minutes, full stage. ITALIAN TRIO. As usual a "Knockout" in this house. These men always make good. 11 minutes in one. HOMER B. MASON & CO. Two men and a woman in a sketch called "A Hero." Very funny sketch, and got lots of laughter all through. Mason is great, although some of his gags are rather questionable. Miss [Keeler? Kesler?] is very pretty, and plays her part well. Good act for this house. 22 minutes, full stage. BILLY VAN. Well known black face Monologist. Held up this awfully difficult spot very well indeed. Big laughter. 18 minutes in one. GEO. B. RENO & CO. Four men and a woman in one of the silliest acts I have seen in a long while. Small laughter in spots, but the act is not worth the money. It might be all right to follow a Zouave act. 17 minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH. Picturesque Japan. Interesting film. Stolen Pig. Very funny. NOTE. Had to put Bowman down between Hearn and Bernar's Mannikins to-night on account of wait. He fills spot O. K. Splendid show from start to finish, with exception of Geo. Reno. Lindsay Morison.
