125TH STREET THEATRE CRITICISM    E.F. ROGERS
May 27th, 1907
KEELEY BROTHERS:
Bag Punching. 2 men, one working straight, the other eccentric. Received quite a lot of applause for their work with some few laughs for the comedy end of it. Their encore in one, burlesque boxing, was a big hit. An excellent opening act and one of the best we have had. 15 min.-full stage closed in one about 3 min.
MR. & MRS. MARK MURPHY:
In their comedy:-"The Coal Strike" Well known. Act contains quite a lot of new material. They certainly got the laughs and finished strong. 25 min.-full stage-closed in one about 3 min.
GEO. WILSON:
From the way the audience left the theatre when this man came on, presume he must be the most unpopular performer in the profession. The best part of the audience made it an intermission, some promenading in the rear of the theatre and others in the lobby. Secured very few laughs and they appreciated his exit. 20 min. in one
TOM HEARN:
The Lazy Juggler. Well known. Secured quite a lot of laughs. this man did not go as well as reported in the other houses. Presume he will go better to-night. 25 min.-full stage
SIX GLINSERETTIS:
An excellent acrobatic act, but not appreciated in this house. 10 min.

"On the stage" Rather rough, but very good
