CONTINUED. BEN WELCH. Big advance applause. Too well known for much comment. Suffice it to say he was a big unqualified hit in everything he did. With all his comedy this man has quite a touch of genuine pathos in his composition. 20 minutes in one. WATERBURY BROS. AND TENNEY. Another well known act, and rather a hard spot for the Comedy end, but he went very well, and the whole act got big applause. 24 minutes, full stage. Close in one. ZAZELL AND VERNON CO. Two men and two women in a pantomime sketch called "The Elopement." This is a very funny act with some new tricks that seemed to please immensely. The people are all clever, and the men do a very good Burlesque boxing match at the finish in one. 23 minutes, full stage. Close in one. HOUDINI. This man opened in one with a short series of pictures illustrating his jump from the Pittsburg bridge. These pictures are very good, and got quite a hand. He got advance applause, and the act went very well. The trunk trick of course got big applause. I am working up some special features for him that will be talked about, and he ought to do some business for us. 24 minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH. Views of Paris. A very good and interesting film. If you had a wife like this. Good Comedy. NOTE. Good show all through. I cancelled Alexander and Bertie on account of their wanting to change their spot. Lindsay Morison.
