155 CLEVELAND, OHIO June 10, 1907. GEORGE B. RENO CO. in the 'PEEKOUT CADETS." There are fourmen and one woman in this act. It proved to be an excellent opening number, and I can understnd how it would be a scream following the "Peekin Zouaves". 10 minutes, full stage. LA BELLE BLANCHE, the dainty Mimic. This young lady gave several imitations, and closed much stronger than she opened. One of her imitations was of Alice Lloyd who played at the Opera House last week. The singing at the close really carried the act. Drop in one, 16 Minutes. WATERBURY BROS. & TENNY. This well known black face comedy and musical trio introduced some new comedy and some new and catchy music. They went very strong on this spot and managed to do the 25 minutes without the least trouble. Opened C. D. F. in three. Closed in one. 25 minutes. MASTER GABRIEL. This act was commented on last week. It was held over for two weeks because of the fact that thousands of children could not get into the theatre last week. I am quite sure it will prove an excellent drawing card for the youngsters. LITTLE NIP. Nip gave out programmes in the lobby from 1:30 to 2: 15. We put him on the stage to do an act of nine minutes. His work seemed to please. Full stage. 9 minutes. WM. GOULD & VALESKA SURATT. After writeing me that he wold open in one, Gould came in this morning, and said that Mis s Suratt would not allow him to do so. Consequently we had a five minute wait in this spot. Some of their jokes were a little bit raw for a Cleveland audience. The act went quite well. We have an opposition of the entire bunch of Gibson girls at the Opera House. C. D. F. in three Close on one. 23 minutes. Claude Gillingwater & Co. Sketch entitled "The Wrong Man." This sketch is well known on the circuit. It was a strange co-incidence that the two center door sets in the whole show should come together at this point. Gould's close in one was not long enough to make this set and there was another wait. The act went well, but is a little too long. C. D. F. in three. 30 minutes. CHRISTMAS ON THE ISLAND. The work of this quartette is well known. They have played here before. This quite a hard spot for them and they objected to this position. Almost refused to go on unless they were shifted, but with only two acts in one I could not shift them. Special drop in one. 20 Minutes. Crigoletties flying ballet. ACT WAS REPORTED ON IN PHILADELPHIA. IT SUCCESSFULLY CLOSED THE SHOW TODAY? AND IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ACTS I HAVE seen. Full stage, ten minutes. KINETOGRAPH. Show was so long that we did not use it.
