CONTINUED. WILLIE ECKSTEIN. This boy is a great favorite at this house, and received a very good reception on his appearance. He has improved a great deal since he last played here, and up to this spot went better than anything else on the bill. 13 minutes in three. RAE & BROSCHE. This act has played here several times, and never fails to make good here each time. Went very strong this afternoon. 20 minutes, Open full stage and close in one. BERT LEVY. Mr. Levy received a reception on his appearance, and was the hit of my bill. He received several encores. I consider him the best artist in the business. Went big. 18 minutes full stage. BIG CITY FOUR. This is a very good act, and I like it just as well as I do That Quartette. The men are very neatly dressed, and are very good singers, especially the Tenor who received several encores when he sang Sally in our Alley. Went very good. 18 minutes in one. MR. & MRS. TRUESDELL & CO. In a new sketch entitled "Two men and a Bottle." I consider this act a very good one. The act is full of comedy, and Mr. Truesdell has a very good Company. This is one of our best sketches. The act went very well. 21 minutes, full stage. SEARL AND VIOLET ALLEN COMPANY. This act was a big hit this afternoon. I like it much better than their old act. There is lots of comedy, plenty of life and keeps the audience laughing all the time. Mr. Allen has practically the same Company as he had in the other act with the exception of one woman. He does not do much dancing in this act, as he did in the old act. I would rather prefer a little more dancing as he is a very clever dancer. The act went very well. 21 minutes, open in one, and close in full stage. HOUDINI. Third and last week. Mr. Houdini did not go as well as the other two weeks, on account of the people being anxious to see him to-night, and every other night this week in his challenges. He has accepted a challenge for every night. His main challenge being the Box trick next Thursday night. KINETOGRAPH. A SLAVE'S LOVE. A very good film. The Clown Doctor. Very good comedy. REED ALBEE
