Cleveland, Ohio. June 17, 1907. ROSAIRE & DORETO Comedy acrobats, two men. Played here before. Good opening act. Full stage. Ten Minutes. Special drop. LOUISE HENRY. Working in one. Doing about the same line of character work that she did when last here with Van Alstyne. Didn't seem to catch on very well this afternoon. Drop in one. 12 Minutes. HARRY DAVENPORT & PHYLLIS RANKIN. Sketch entitled the "Goddess." Three people in the act. It is one of those dream sketches where the awakening come at the finish. It is not a very lively act, but the names make good billing material, and if given an easy position, act should make good. C. D. F. in 3. 17 Min. FRED RAY & CO. Same old act that he gave us last trip with the addition of a special drop that he carries. It is a good act in one and went with a roar of laughter at the opening today. Drop in one, 18 Min. THE PIANOPHIENDS. There are five men and four women in this act. They use four upright and one grand piano. The act consists of singing, dancing and piano music. To my mind it is the best act that Lasky has yet put out. It has more ginger, snap and fire in it than any other act of this firm that has been along here. I would consider it a cracker jack. Special set in 3. 20 minutes. NAT M. WILLS. Tramp Monologist. This man was a knock-out this afternoon. He held the audience for twenty-three minutes without the least trouble, and it has been a mighty long time since I have seen a Monologist go as well. Drop in one. 23 Min. PONY BALLET. Six girls. Probably best dancing act in America. Will be a sure fire here, every show. Full stage, 8 Minutes. BELLONG BROS. Cycle Equilibrists. One of the best acts of the kind that has ever played Cleveland. Every trick borders on the sensational. Corking good act. Full stage, 11 minutes. KINETOGRAPH. LITTLE HIP. The elephant does not appear in the show but gives a reception for the children on the stage after the biograph, every afternoon. He also gives a parade of two hours in the morning through the principle streets with the trainer dressed up as a clown with dozens of kids carrying banners. The elephant also gives out programmes in the lobby both afternoon and evening while the house is coming in. HAD/R.
