UNION SQUARE CRITICISM, WEEK OF JUNE 24th, 1907. HARRINGTON AND LESTER. Man and woman with special drop. Fair act, and a little better than last time it played here. Good value for three shows. 14 minutes in two, or one. ARCHER AND CROCKER. Two men straight and comedy in acrobatic act. Usual "rough house" with table and chairs, but some of the straight man's tricks are very good and got applause. Hard working act only good for three a day houses. 12 minutes, full stage. GRACE TEMPEST TRIO. Woman and two boys in singing and dancing act. It's a lucky thing for this woman, she has the boys. They are very good dancers, and if a good woman got hold of them they would not be doing three shows. The woman is absolutely bad. 11 minutes in one. WALSH, LYNCH & COMPANY. In "Huckin's Run." Two men and a woman. This is a curious sort of melo-dramatic hodge podge for a three show act. The young man has a splendid voice, and got big applause for his two songs. The girl is pretty, and holds her own, the other does a fair double of the bad father and constable. This act is a hit, and would be all right for two or three on the bill in the two a day houses. 25 minutes, full stage. Special set house. JOHN F. CLARK. Monologist and singing comedian. REturn date here. Late of the morning telegraph. Just as big a hit as many men getting two and three times his salary. Why he is not kept busy, I can't understand at his salary. His last song got five encores. 18 minutes in one three shows. FREDO AND DARE. Two men in Musical act, straight and black face. Good act that pleased very well. Comedy is good. Two shows. 17 minutes, full stage. Close in one. MILDRED FLORA. Too far down for this woman. Only a mediocre act. Nothing attractive about the act at all. 11 minutes in one. HARRY AND KATE JACKSON. Comedy sketch that went very well considering the small audience and hot weather. Two curtains. 18 minutes, full stage. AL. M. WESTON & COMPANY. Three men and two women in a very clever nonsensical act in one that kept the audience in constant good humor. Very well put together act. 19 minutes in one. BOWERS, WALTERS AND CROCKER. Three rube acrobats. One of the funniest acts seen here for some time. Their burlesque business gets screams of laughter. Splendid closing number, as it holds them. 15 minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH. ARCTIC HUNTING. A Very interesting film. PALMISTRY. Very funny. NOTE. Very good all round show. Mary Ann Brown is worthy of notice from everyone. Lindsay Morison.
