Ellis-Nowlan Troupe. On at 10.03, 12 min, full stage. With a few more weeks' work this will develop into as good a closing act as anybody could ask for, for it is lively, the people are good acrobats and there is a lot of comedy in it.
Kinetograph. On at 10.15. "Straw Hat Making in Italy", an interesting picture. "Arctic Hunting", held for a second week, for the reason that it made very good last week.
Cuts:-
Nagel & Adams. Remarks about "sewers", "cockroaches" and "breeches".
Keno & Rosa. Remarks about "bow-legged lady". "Must have eaten something that didn't agree with them". "Maid and bath".
Wynn & Lewis. Remarks about "hell", "fool", "I'm from Pittsburg and want to shoot somebody".
Comment. A pretty good hot-weather show, although lacing somewhat in comedy in the early numbers.
