TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. June 24, 1907. J. H. Finn. Marion & Pearl. Talking acrobatic comedians. This act is all right to open a summer show. 11 min. FS. Dorothy Kenton. Rather attractive young woman who handles the banjo like a veteran, and makes good. 10 min. in one. Mr. & Mrs. Harry Thorne. Presenting the same skit with which they have been identified for several years. It was again very pleasing to our hot weather audiences. 24 min. FS. Mason & Shannon. Presenting "Astrology." A talking act that got by, and that's about all. 15 min. in one. Leona Thurber. If Miss Thurber could sing this would be one of the best "pick" acts in the business, and notwithstanding she cannot sing the act went very well indeed. 12 min. in one. Davenport & Rankin. Presenting "The Goddess." A very clever comedy, cleverly presented. 17 min. FS. Keefe & Pearl. Tony Pearl at the harp, Keefe as a yodler. It is a happy combination and was one of the biggest hits on the bill. 14 min. in one. Four Huntings. This is a good comedy singing, dancing and acrobatic act, and although it has appeared here very often it went very strong. Kinetograph. "Hunting the Caribou," is one of the best kinetograph pictures ever seen here, and it is certainly worth writing for.
