TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. July 1, 1907. J. H. Finn. THE TENNIS TRIO. Stock sisters and Will Campbell. A very pretty club juggling act that is entitled to a much better place on the bill. 15 FS. DIXON & ANGER. A good act that went quite strong in this spot. 14 in one. JAMES BROCKMAN & CO. Including the Phillips sisters and Tom Yost. Not as good an act as I expected, but it got by in good shape owing, perhaps, to its diversified entertainment. 19 min. FS. WORK & OWER. A very good comedy acrobatic act that had the audience going all the time it was on the stage. About 6 min. in one. Charlotte Ravenscroft. Singer and violinist. Very nice stage presence, and excellent violinist, and a singer that captures everybody. 12 min. in one. VALERIE BERGERE & CO. Offering "Jimmie's Experiment," a farce, of the light, summery sort, well adapted to this season of the year. Both Miss Bergere and her supported was excellent and the farce pleased very much indeed. 25 min. FS. BIG CITY QUARTETTE. This is a very good singing act, all having good voices that blend very well. They were recalled several times and sang themselves out. 18 min. in one. BESSIE VALDARE. Troupe of cycle experts, 6 girls and one boy. A very good act that pleased as well as any act of this kind we ever had. The girls are on the "pony" order and look very neat and chic. 12 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH. Hunting the hippopotamus in Africa is a very unusual picture and should excite a great deal of interest
