TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. July 15, 1907. J. H. Finn. MARTIN BROS.- Xylophone players. Good act of the kind. 14 min. Worked in conservatory, but can work in one or two. ARTHUR WHITELAW. Good act for this time of the year, and went quite well with our audiences. 13 min. in one. T. W. Eckert and Emma Berg. Eckert's voice appears to be growing harder every season and this season it is worse than ever. Miss Berg, however, is all right. 10 min. in one. 12 min. in 3. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Truesdell & Co. Offering "Two Men and a Bottle." This is a good lovely farce and kept the audience in good spirits all the way. 20 min. FS. Besnah & Miller. While this singing and dancing act is about the average for this line of work it appeared to go quite well with our summer audiences. 15 min. in one. Toby Claude & Co. Miss Claude, assisted by Osborn Searle and Eric Norrington, sang three new songs in poor voice. She dresses the first two songs elaborately, and finishes with a comedy song after the style of "Waiting at the Church." 19 min, interior. Irving Jones. This man does not appear to do as well in this house as other colored entertainers and he came pretty near being a frost this time. 17 min. in one. Melrose Troupe. About the same as the average acrobatic act. 10 min. FS. Kinetograph. "Hunting in the Artic region" is a very good picture.
