249 GRAND OPERA HOUSE SEPT. 16th, 1907. GOETZ & NELSON- 3 shows. 15 min. full stage. Comedy juggling and revolving globe. A good act among the three a days. DONNELLY & ROTALLI- 3 shows, special in one. 15 min. Character singing. This act is above the ordinary three a day but not quite strong enough for a place among the two a day acts. KRONEMAN BROS-Comedy acrobats-head and hand balancers, full stage, 12 min. Two men made up as clowns. This can only be considered a fair act. Would not care to recommend it for a place later than eight o'clock. DIXIE SERENADERS-21 min. Olio in one. 4 men and two women-colored. This act not later than 8:30 I would consider very good. They are on for us at 8:15 and going very well. RYAN & RICHFIELD In "Mag Haggarty's Reception". 27 min., full stage. Too well known for any criticism and is going well with us. After Tuesday Mrs. Ryan was too ill to work and her place was taken by her sister who does not commence to be as good as the original. However, the act is going very good. OTERITA- Spanish dancer. Olio in two. Very clever girl with handsome costume but for some reason does not go well. GENARO & BAILEY- 23 min. "Tony the Bootblack". Special set, opening full stage, closing in one about 5 min. This is their second appearance here with this sketch and they are going very well, especially their singing and dancing in one which gets them several bows. DONEGAN SISTERS-Roller Skaters, about 8 min., full stage. A very clever act, going better than anything of the kind I have ever seen. Their dancing on skates to patriotic music getting them a great applause. BEN WELCH- 13 min. in one, special drop with his Hebrew and Italian monologue. A big hit. WM. HAWTREY & CO. 25 min. Full stage, interior, in their sketch- "Compromised". The acting of Mr. Hawtrey is very good; his equal is seldom seen in vaudeville, the sketch a very good one and away from anything we have played. It is very dramatic and holds the audience during the entire 25 minutes. COOPER & ROBINSON-- 12 min. Street in one. Doing the same act as last season but going very well. DUNEDIN TROUPE- 15 min. Full stage. One of the best bicycle acts we have played. CLARENCE SISTERS- 11 min. Olio in two. 3 shows. Very neat dressers and can be considered a good little act. John P. Harris. 214
