(3) Al Casey and Mae Craney. On at 4.59, 12 min., in 1; 2 shows. They have some bright talk, good songs, dance well and make a neat appearance. I would play them as late as 8.15 and 2.15, if necessary, but they should nevertheless do 3 shows in the continuous houses. Wynnewood Sisters. on at 3.11, 18 min, full stage. Could close in 1, if necessary; 3 shows. At sixty and three, I wouldn't feel like making a holler, but at one hundred and three, I want a megaphone to express my feelings in full. Two good-looking girls who are very amateurish, and have a sketch that is absolutely impossible. Plucked before they were ripe. Cuts: Merry Minnie Stokes. "Rib and wife" story. "Key in L" squib. Comment. A very pleasing show, but it lacks a real headliner. It would be much improved if we had a strong comedy closing act, which would enable us to play The Youlians up the bill.
