CLEVELAND, OHIO. September, 7th--1908 Ned S. Hastings. AMORES SISTERS. In 4 woods. Time 11. 2 young women, attractive and neatly dressed. Singers, dancers, jugglers and gymnasts. Everything good, acrobatic dancing the feature. Big hand at close. BIMM, BOMM, BRRR 3 men, in "Colonial" costumes. Open in 4 palace, close in 1. Time 19. Excellent cornetists, restrained and never noisy. Big hit. Good xylophone playing. Novel and pleasing stunt with metalic disks. Close main part of act with spectacular electrical wheel effect making music like sleigh bells. Comedy excellent. Big applause. Constantine Sisters. 3 young women. Open palace in 4, close in 1. Time 7. Singing not good. Work hard, but dancing only mediocre. JOHN T. KELLY & CO. in 3, plain interior. Time 27. 3 men, 1 woman. Presenting "One Best Bet." A very funny Irish American comedy with a touch of Belascoesque melodrama toward the last ending with a good laugh. The playlet is full of rarely bright lines, well acted. KINETOGRAPH FOR FIVE MINUTES. WATERMELON TRUST. Negroes, 2 men, 3 women. Open F.S. palace, close in 1 (5 min.) Total time 27 min. A lively singing and dancing comedy with some very good fun. Parts however are crude and burlesque-y. Two of the women are totally useless and should be eliminated. MELVILLE STOLTZ'S LITTLE PLAYERS. Open in 2 special back drop, close F.S. with considerable apparatus. A half dozen little boys and girls in a sort of Peter Pan fantasy. Little boy goes to sleep and is taken to fairy land, where an entertainment is held, consisting chiefly of songs and dances. Little Miss Forney's toe dancing is a feature. One dancing clog duet is also a knockout. The whole affair is dainty and pleasing, but does not run very smoothly yet. Time, 30. IONIC QUARTETTE. 4 men. Time 13. In 1. A local quartette and in my opinion the best male quartette we have ever played here. They sing the better grades of songs, quietly, effectively and artistically. They do not bellow or exhibit their lung capacity to the audience, as most male quartettes seen here during the past two years. I believe they would make a big hit on the circuit. TONY WILSON. Assisted by Miss Heloise. F.S. Time 12. A bar and bounding net circus act. Mr Wilson's work is fine and mingled with some real fun. Miss Heloise is a hard worker and brings frequent applause. A good closing feature.
