CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Dec. 28th, 1908 HAL [NERRITT?] Few cartoons, [much?] new talk and was happily received. It helps a bill all the way through to open with a meritorious act. In one. APDALES MENAGERIE It would be difficult to find better performing animals than some of those carried by Mr. Apdale. Full stage. ED MORTON Sings parodies and filled his position acceptably. In one. Lasky's "BIRDLAND" Mr. Lasky has given us another success. Scenically fine, costumes artistic, handsome girls, some beautiful voices, and made a hit here. Full stage. INTERMISSION NED NYE and IDA CRISPI For eccentric dancing they certainly carry away all the honors. This woman Crispi is positively the best eccentric dancing comedienne in the business. Her "Frog Dance" is noteworthy. Full stage, can close in one. HELENA FREDERICK In just as beautiful voice as ever. In one. "A NIGHT at the CIRCUS" The Ellis-[Lowlir?] people have in this the [rearest?] approach to the old fashioned street parads and tent exhibition that one could imagine. It is one big laugh throughout. Opens in two and close full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "The French Doll Industry". Very interesting
