Boston Show, Week of Jan. 4th, 1909 Carl D. Lothrop. (Monday, Jan. 4th--Afternoon Show.) Overture. 1.30,13 minutes. Raven Trio. On at 1.43, 10 minutes full stage. One of the best acrobatic acts for the money that is on the circuit to- day. Will make good in any house and deserves a much better place in this bill. Can close any small shoy. XXI May hickey. On at 1.53, 10 minutes in one. Miss Hickey has a very pleasing stage presence, but her voice is many points shy. could not recommend her for circuit bookings. XI Smith and Heagney. On at 2.03, 22 minutes in one, although they refer to work full stage. An act something on the Orth and Fern order, only the singer, who is also the comedian, works in black face. Went extremely well this afternoon and I consider them a find for the money. Would not hesitate to give them a much better spot on the bill. XXI Hugh LLyod. On at 2.25, 12 minutes full stage. This man's work on the bounding rope is simply marvelous. He is worthy of a good position in any vaudeville show on earth. I regret extremely that I am unable to put him
