CHASE'S wASHINGTON WEEK FEB. 22nd, 1909 WARREN, LYON and MEYERS Two ladies and a gentleman in an act entitled, "WHEN DREAMS COME TRU". Good singing of clever songs, Dialogue, dancing are the act [?] thoroughly good. It can be played as late as nine o'clock and is a find for the money. Full stage, closing in one. ARTOIS DUO Acrobats, one a comedian, and while their performance sets through nicely we are disappointed. Full stage. HENRY CLIVE and Co. Mr. Clive is a good comedy burlesque magician and very popular here. In one. GORDON HILDRED and Co. He bills the act, "WON BY A LEG" but we took the liberty of amending to read, "HOW HE WON HER". Pretty stiff position on the bill, full of laughs, and he {?} to hold the place quite satisfactorly. Full stage. INTERMISSION HASSAN BEN ALT'S ARABS A fine troupe and pretty nearly, if not quite, carried off the honors. Full stage. JOSEPH F. SHEEHAN Tenor from the Savage Grand Opera Co. Good voice and pleased but should have a better repertoire of songs. In one. "FUN IN A BOARDING HOUSE" Once in awhile I presume we can play this sort of comedy, and it goes very big with a holiday crowd, but it is so noisy and nonsensical that for the life of me I could hardly understand why thie house was in such an uproar of laughter. Full stage. WINTER SPORTS AT ST. [MO? 'S" This Vitagraph subject was rather interesting. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager
